Whoopi Goldberg is an American actress and talk show host. She was the voice of the park ranger, Margaret, in The Rugrats Movie.
She first rose to acting prominence in the movie The Color Purple, in which she played a mistreated African-American woman in the deep south. In 1990, Goldberg starred in the movie Ghost, playing a psychic who helps a slain man find his killer. Her other well known roles include Delores in Sister Act, and its sequel, Shenzi in The Lion King, Vera in Rat Race, Delilah in How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Valerie in Girl Interrupted, and Alice in For Colored Girls. Whoopi is also renowned for her role as Guinan the bartender in Star Trek: The Next Generation and as of 2007, she hosts The View.
