Tia Esperanza is a minor character in the 2021 series of Rugrats. She arrives at Betty's Beans to greet Betty and the other adults as she explains to Betty that she has the responsibility of placing the baby in the manger this year for Las Posadas.
Tia later narrates the story of Mary and Joseph during the Las Posadas parade. Betty struggles to tell her that the baby Jesus doll has gone missing, but is ultimately spared having to do so when the babies place the doll in the manger as the two playing Mary and Joseph are approaching.
