Tommy believes that a small goat is his new baby sibling. - Description from Paramount+

Plot

The kids are hanging out in the backyard of Tommy's house, where they're looking for Tommy's toy screwdriver -- Tommy claims that he was playing with his tools earlier and must've set his screwdriver down somewhere, but can't remember just where he put it, so his friends are helping him looking for it. While Lou's watering some plants, Stu and Didi come by and thank Lou for keeping an eye on the kids. Stu and Didi want to get as many pre-baby errands done as possible and they've got lists of all the supplies they're looking for (including the stores to find them at) and even lists of the nearest hospitals in case Didi goes into labor while they're out shopping, especially since Didi's at that point in the pregnancy where she's due any day now. When the kids happen to overhear Stu claim that the baby could come any minute now, Susie argues to Tommy and the others that it might end up taking a lot longer than they think.

Lou gets a message on his phone from his girlfriend, Celeste, who has brought a new friend with her: a young female goat (which they refer to as a "kid") named Clover. Thinking that the goat is Tommy's new sibling, Tommy and his friends take Clover inside to show her around the house -- meanwhile, Lou shows a patch of weeds in the yard to Celeste, and it turns that at least part of the reason she brought Clover with her was to eat up the weeds, referring to goats as "nature's little weedwhackers." Celeste then notices a box in the yard, which Lou reveals to be filled with an old tea set that used to belong to his late wife, Trixie. Despite how old and chipped the tea set is, Celeste finds it beautiful and claims that Lou's wife had good taste -- Lou's been trying to get rid of it for a while but can't bring himself to do so, so Celeste comes up with an idea on how to still use the tea set (even if they can't use it to make/drink tea).

Tommy and his friends bring Clover up to the bedroom with the cribs used by Tommy and the new baby, and they try putting Clover down for a nap -- Clover jumps into the new crib on her own, and Tommy gives the blanket he had gotten from Angelica back in "Ancient Treasure" to Clover. Tommy and the others go play while Clover's napping, but she almost immediately wakes back up and even starts chewing on the blanket Tommy gave her. Figuring that Clover's probably just hungry, Tommy and the others take Clover down to the kitchen to get her a snack. After they gather up stuff they like to eat to give to Clover, the little goat comes out from the cabinets with her head in a box of Reptar-cereal -- she soon starts eating the box in addition to the cereal.

Back out in the yard, Celeste is revealed to have turned Trixie's old tea set into a sculpture -- Lou eventually leaves to go add something to Celeste's sculpture, while we cut back to Tommy and his friends, who are now playing with Clover in the living room. Susie pulls Chuckie aside to talk to him about Clover and the two are soon joined by the twins -- as it turns out, the four of them are fully aware that Clover's a goat and not a human. When Susie questions how they're going to tell Tommy that his new "sister" is a goat, Chuckie argues that they shouldn't, with his reasoning being that Tommy's always looking out for them and that if Stu and Didi think having a goat for a sister is what's best for Tommy, they shouldn't say anything -- so the others do their best to not tell Tommy about his new "sister" being a goat. The gang heads outside to the backyard to play with Clover, who eventually finds Tommy's screwdriver in the sandbox -- Clover's very stubborn about giving Tommy's screwdriver back, but they're eventually able to get it back by bribing her with the weeds in the backyard.

Lou's revealed to have added a hose to Celeste's sculpture to turn it into a serenity fountain -- just as Clover jumps back into Celeste's arms, Stu and Didi come back from their errands. Lou and Celeste show off the fountain they made using Trixie's old tea set, which Stu and Didi find to be just beautiful. When Tommy realizes that his mom still hasn't had her baby yet, Tommy realizes that Clover isn't his sister (although he still doesn't seem to get that Clover's a goat and not a human).

Trivia

  • This is the second of five episodes where Didi's shown to be visibly pregnant after revealing her second pregnancy at the end of "Tot Spring Showdown" as well as the second episode of wearing her maternity clothes (instead of her usual full-length long-sleeved red dress). Didi's also much more heavily pregnant than she was in the previous episode -- as noted by her husband, Didi's apparently at that point in the pregnancy where the baby is due any day now.
  • Lou claims that when Trixie (his wife/Stu and Drew's mother/the kids' grandmother) was alive, she used to make tea for herself and Lou every afternoon.
  • Phil claims that he's not very good at keeping secrets. Also, while Clover was jumping around in the backyard, he claims that he had once seen something similar to Clover's antics at a petting zoo.
  • This episode shows the subtle differences in the groups' age and understanding of the world around them.
    • Tommy (who's technically the youngest of the five main kids) doesn't understand that Clover's a goat.
    • Chuckie, Susie and the twins all immediately knew that Clover wasn't a human.
