Recap
Stu recieves an order from Mucklehony Industries for 15,000 "Patty Pants" dolls. However, he is having trouble with the machine that creates dolls in the first place. Tommy and Chuckie accidentally toss their Zippo-Glider airplane toy into the basement (where the machine is located) and go in to find it.
After climbing down the steps leading to the basement, Tommy and Chuckie locate the Zippo-Glider on top of the Patty Pants machine. They climb on top of it and accidentally turned a switch, causing the machine to fix itself. The machine makes perfect dolls, one of the dolls bumps into Tommy and Chuckie. They slide down having blonde wigs put on them. They then get put in purple dresses, and purple shoes. Tommy and Chuckie retrieve their plane toy.
Stu returns and discovers the now-functioning machine and smiles. He brings up the dolls to show Didi. She comments that they are lifelike. Tommy and Chuckie get out of the box. He begins to create and design more Patty Pants dolls for Mucklehoney Industries, but as the episode ends Chuckie accidentally tossed the Zippo-Glider down into the basement again.
Trivia
- A clip from this episode (Chuckie bouncing on the matress saying 'Fun") is used in the video of "The 90's are All That" anthem promoting the TV block of the same name.
- The title of this episode is a play on the title of the fairy tale "The Shoe Maker's Elves."
- Tommy and Chuckie describe a dream in which they are in a bright white room, being held upside down and spanked by somebody. This implies that they remember the day they were born, and dream about it.
