Rugrats is an animated television series created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó, and Paul Germain for Nickelodeon. The series premiered on August 11, 1991 and aired its last episode on August 1, 2004. The series focuses on six babies, mainly Tommy Pickles, Tommy's mean three-year-old cousin, Angelica, and the Pickles' family dog, Spike (1991). The original series was cancelled, but is still playing in reruns on TeenNick's late night block, NickRewind. The revival will premiere on May 27, 2021. A live-action/CGI hybrid movie is supposed to be released soon, but it was later removed from Paramount's release schedule. A mini-series full of shorts will also premiere on May 14, 2021 on Nickelodeon. |
