- This episode is one of the first to fully focus on mention anything about Melinda along with her and Chas' relationship before her passing. Also, unlike in the original series, the reboot explicitly states that Melinda's dead -- back in the original series, it was made clear that Melinda had passed away, but they never explicitly said it.

- Chuckie's Reptar plush toy was one of the last gifts he received from Melinda, in comparison to Wawa in the original show.
