Synopsis

When Charlotte gets a promotion, Angelica thinks she will have to move away. The other kids thinks this is great, but Tommy reminds them that it was Angelica that got them together in the first place. - Description from Klasky Csupo

Plot

It seems like Angelica and her parents might be moving away, which the babies are initially happy about, because with Angelica living in a different city, she can't bully them anymore. However, Tommy soon remembers that his cousin was the person who actually brought the babies together as friends and reminds his friends of how they first met. Angelica hears and gets upset as she realizes how much she genuinely cares about the babies. After telling them how much she'll miss them, everyone cries. However the move falls through, and the babies happily hug Angelica as she tries to take back all the nice things she said.

Notes

  • The ending credits music is different from the usual.

Trivia

  • This episode was produced as the final episode for the "original era", but the "Passover" (produced as the 62nd episode) ended up airing in 1995.
  • This episode marks how the babies met for the first time.
  • This episode was somehow described back in a Season 2 episode, Aunt Miriam. Where Lou and Aunt Miriam described their backstory when they were young, and how Lou got his head stuck in the fence and Bill and Jill pulled him out. Only in this case, it's Angelica that gets her head stuck and Tommy and Chuckie, as well as Phil and Lil pulled her out.
  • This is one of the few episodes to show that Angelica really does genuinely care about the babies.
  • This episode's flashback could be considered non-canon, as it is mentioned in other episodes (notably in Showdown at Teeter-Totter Gulch, A Step at a Time and The Crawl Space) that Tommy has known Chuckie since soon after he was born yet the flashback mentions how Stu and Didi only recently moved into the neighbourhood with the babies all meeting at the same age they are in the present. In addition, Phil and Lil say they like eating worms when Angelica first meets them, yet in Moose Country they eat worms for the first time.
  • The little Chihuahua in the yard across the fence is both based on & is a reference to Ren Hoek from The Ren & Stimpy Show, Which was one of the first Nicktoons along with Rugrats & Doug.
