Hi again! I'm just dropping by to let you know of a new scheme introduced at Fandom called Editor Rewards. This is a great new scheme designed to reward editors on Fandom, with merchandise ranging from free video games, hoodies, collectibles, and more!
To find out more about the scheme, please feel free to read the Introduction to Editor Rewards blog post Fandom staff posted. Also, please do leave feedback in the comments section of that blog as staff will be able to respond quickly and answer any questions you may have.
This feature includes some really insightful statistics that should allow you guys to inform some wiki decisions, such as:
Top viewed pages
# of page views (daily over the past 30 days)
Most visited files
Desktop vs mobile sessions
So as I mentioned above, this feature is really great as it allows you to see what areas are doing very well and how you can capitalise on them. For example, over half of your readerbase (52%) view the wiki from mobile devices. You could this data to inform the decision to use Portable Infoboxes on the wiki to make the viewing experience for those users easier. This just one way this tool is super useful! :)
Hopefully you like this feature, it's been highly requested for some time and we would really appreciate your feedback on it. For more help with it, please feel free to ask me questions and also refer to these two super useful articles:
The game is real but it hasn't resurfaced on the internet. It's a very old mobile game from 2005 by the Mobliss company so there's no current content to be found in 2019. If I happen to find anything I will let you know however.
Hi! How are you? I was passing by the wiki and noticed you guys don't use Portable Infoboxes (PIs). Have you heard of or used (PIs) before? They're really useful for users on mobile devices! :)
PIs are a type of infobox that are easier to code and also display better on mobile devices. This is very important as more people are using mobile devices and wikis need to do their best to accommodate those readers. The great thing is these infoboxes can be made to look exactly the same as current infoboxes you have.
If we can make the viewing experience comfortable for mobile readers, you'll find more will be wanting to stay on the wiki and eventually become editors. Both of those help grow the community.
Hi Babysmurfrocks! My name's Chris, and I’m the Fandom Wiki Manager for Rugrats Wiki! I'm here to help the community and be a liaison to full-time Fandom staff. If you ever have a question or issue relating to the wiki, editing, etc., please contact me on my message wall. Thanks! :)
About the transcripts, I wanna do them Okay, so it will probably be a few weeks before I'm more active as I'm on my last few weeks of my first college semester, but I wanted to add the transcripts and make some changes to them. A lot of them haven't even started. Also, where the heck did the names of the crying scenes come from? For example, when I viewed what was on the transcript for "The Big Sneeze", the name of Kimi's crying is apparently mylan crying or something like that. And I saw more names for crying scene like that. Was like 4 years ago, but still. It's kinda... odd. Mind if I make changes to them? thanks for taking the time to read this. Later.
