Plot[]

On being given a family tree project Chuckie and Kimi are excited that they only have one piece of homework between them as they are brother and sister. However Kimi discovers her Japanese heritage and decides that she and Chuckie should work on separate projects. At first Chuckie is supportive of her, but after she drags the Finster family into a charade for the school's culture festival, which humiliates them, and then leaves him and Chas out of her project, Chuckie becomes annoyed and wants his old sister back.

Meanwhile Tommy meets a new kid named Trevor. He tries to help Trevor join his group of friends, but when Trevor and everyone else starts to copy Tommy's style and habits, he fears that Trevor is trying to replace him.

Trivia[]

  • Ending Tagline: "Bird poop is thicker than water!" - Chuckie
  • Chuckie's outfit changes in one scene (where the boys play catch), but then changes back.
  • The address on the Finster home has the numbers 8306 as its address.
  • Morals:
    • Whether your family members are related to you biologically or not, Their still your family.
    • Don't copy someone's style and habits just to get people to like you, just be yourself.

Goofs[]

  • When Trevor was rollerblading, in which Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, and Dil are watching, the front part of Trevor's hair appears dark blond.
  • In a scene where Kimi is looking up her ancestry, there is a flashback showing her ancestors and every time they do something that she thought would be successful for them, a part of the Japanese culture (referencing her ancestors’ race ) is shown. If the flashbacks shown here were most likely from the 1800s. And since during the 1800s, when Japan was isolated (meaning that no one can escape or move to Japan back then), how would have they gotten to America in the first place?
