Hershowitz is Drew and Charlotte Pickles' defense attorney. He is a no-nonsense attorney, who fights for his clients. He is also one of the few outside of Angelica's parents to not fall for Angelica's "cute little girl" act.
He is most likely a parody of high-profile defense attorney Alan Dershowitz.
