Summary

After Tommy,Phil and Lil's parents get in a big fight Chuckie's dad tries to make them the best of friends again. If he fails Tommy and Chuckie will never see Phil and Lil again!

Plot

The episode begins with a game of charades with Stu Pickles and Howard DeVille against Didi and Betty (i.e., the men against the women). The category was "name the film". Stu was acting out like a wolf while Howard was having a hard time what Stu was doing. Betty was keeping up with the time. The babies were wondering what the grown-ups were doing. Stu gave away his act with a howl, and Howard figured it out with ease. Then, Stu was acting out a dance; Howard guessed some giveaways, like "Wolf Trot", "Skip to My Wolf", "Stepping on Wolves," (which Howard thought was "Steppenwolf"); however, time was up, and Betty gave the correct answer: Dances with Wolves. Howard admits that he never saw the film and thought it was a musical. Stu argues with him about the film and, later, the teamup. Howard says that he doesn't have to be insulted, and excuses himself from the Pickles' house. Didi and Betty laughed at the mens' reactions, then insult about each others' husbands. Betty then grabs Phil and Lil and says that she doesn't want to be insulted either, then follows Howard out of the Pickles' house.

Later, Stu builds a fence to keep the DeVilles away, with Tommy and Chuckie wondering what he was doing. Didi, handing a bunch of gardening equipment to Chaz, demanded that he ask Betty to return the recipe cards she borrowed from Didi. Tommy and Chuckie are pretty disappointed about the feud. Tommy then notices the telephone (what the babies call the "Hello-phone") and presses a few buttons, including a teenage girl's number, a radio station's number, and, finally, Betty's speed dial button. Didi takes the phone away from the babies, asking what the two were doing; Betty, on the other end, was bummed to hear Didi. While Betty was going to ask, Didi hung up and tried to dial back. Didi picked up the other phone and got a disturbing message from Betty, who thinks that Didi's prank-phone-call time is a little mature. Tommy and Chuckie made things worse, but then thought of another way: giving presents. Tommy went up to his mommy's room and found her favorite earrings, which Chuckie put into his pocket.

Chaz came back with the recipe cards, asking Didi to return the Ultimate Aerobics workout video she borrowed from Betty. As Chaz was picking up Chuckie, asking him to spend some time with Phil and Lil, Didi gave him the video, asking for Didi's sampler pack that Betty borrowed.

While at the DeVilles' house, Chuckie produces the earrings, showing them to Phil and Lil, who put them in the kitchen. At that same kitchen, Betty gave the sampler pack, which was in her refrigerator since 1976, it's smells like Bicentennial Party. In their daddy's room, Phil and Lil gave Chuckie his watch, which the babies call a "time". Back in the kitchen, Chaz demanded that the feud would end, if, Betty added, the Pickles would grovel at the DeVilles' feet. Chaz gave a sigh of disappointment, grabbed Chuckie, and returned to the Pickles' house. While Betty was drinking her Java, she noticed the earrings, thinking that Howard gave them to her to remember their anniversary. Howard nervously giggled, saying that he'd always remember their anniversary after what happened the year before.

Back at the Pickles' house, Didi smelled the contents of the sampler pack, asking if Betty kept rotting fish sticks in there. Chaz asks that the feud would end to Stu and Didi, if, Stu added, Howard would erect a 20-foot billboard on the DeVilles' lawn that says "Home of the Fatheads". Tommy and Chuckie put the watch on Stu's favorite chair, saying that they're tired of the grown-ups fighting and hoping their plan works. After Stu comes into the other room, he notices the watch, thinking it belongs to his dad, Lou, and heads back to the yard to reinforce the fence. This disappoints Tommy and Chuckie even more.

Later at the park, the Pickles' and DeVille's cross paths, noticing each others' belongings, and accuse each other of stealing. While the parents begin arguing at each other again, the babies decide to run away to a place where they can play; some place where everyone lives in peace. Tommy thinks that place is near the trash can.

While the parents continue arguing, Chaz notices that the kids are gone and ends the argument, blaming their insults and their past mistakes for forgetting the children. Finally remorseful over what they've done, they decide to split up and find the kids. Howard tries to open up a closet, with no luck; Didi unlocks the closet for him and they search inside, with no sign of the kids. Stu tries to look atop a tree, with no luck climbing, so Betty gives him a leg up. Stu notices the kids near the trash can, and informs Betty about it. With the parents going that direction, they reunite with the kids and learn a valuable lesson: When you get caught up at petty differences, you forget what's really important in life. Stu and Howard apologize for what they did to each other, and Stu says that he would be honored to have Howard as a partner in his next game. The episode ends with the families exiting the park and heading back home for some Java.
