Andrew Louis [citation needed] "Drew" Pickles is the father of Angelica Pickles, uncle of Tommy and Dil Pickles, older brother of Stu Pickles, and husband to Charlotte Pickles. He is considered a main character in Nickelodeon's 2021 animated TV series Rugrats.
Description
Drew is very uptight and more mature than his brother Stu. While there is clearly love between the two, they often argue, and engage in an active sibling rivalry. However, unlike his 1991 counterpart, Drew seems to get along with his brother much better, even in the few instances where they have their arguments.
Just like in the original series, Drew's a high-ranking business executive (although his exact job is unknown). While we never hear the name of his company, from what's described of it, it appears that Drew works for some kind of pharmaceutical company.
Looks
Drew has peach-colored skin, light brown hair, and a large nose identical to his younger brother's and his dad's. In the 2021 series, his outfit is completely different from his 1991 counterparts. He wears a brown outfit with a bowtie, gray shirt, a formal jacket, a belt, chocolate brown jeans, gray socks, and brown shoes.
Trivia
- Drew's apparently younger than his wife in the reboot (albeit only by a few years) -- Charlotte celebrates her 40th-birthday in Tot Springs Showdown, while back in the original, she was (presumably) the same age as her husband.
- Charlotte being 40 also indirectly reveals that she was already well into her 30s by the time she gave birth to her and Drew's daughter, Angelica (who's established as being 3 just like back in the original series).
- It was revealed in "Chuckie Come Home" that due to Drew having a tantrum on his 12th birthday, he was the reason the mini-golf course no longer does birthday parties.
- Drew almost sarcastically comments to Wally that the man had not aged a day despite it being 23 years which reveals that Drew is actually 35 years old.
