Doughboy is an African-American toddler at 'Golden Apple Day Center', who is very skillful at using clay or "Play-Doh" to sculpt various objects. When his sculpture got destroyed by Tommy, he started bawling. He assists Tommy and the others in planning an escape out of the daycare by building a key to the door slot. Its most likely he's returned to his parents after Tommy's mother comes for him.
