Cheddar is Dr. Brander's pet rat that she uses as the subject for her prototype experiment of "The Noserator", a devise to cure those who suffer from nasal problems. Cheddar is shown to have had almost no sense of smell, because of his running nose and constant sneezing. Once she used the devise, he was cured. However, after Dr. Brander called Chas to tell him that she has bad news and to come to her office and to bring Chuckie with him, she shows them that Chedder is stuffed-up again indicating the effects of the Noserator are only temporary, meaning Chuckie would be most likely too, since he has affected by the Noserator, which means now pretty soon he will be just as stuffed-up again too as he was before much to Chas' heartbreak. Dr. Brander decides to give Cheddar to Chuckie as a sort of gift as Chuckie says, they belong together because their noses don't work right.
