Angelica Charlotte [citation needed] Pickles (born May 12, 2018) is a main character (and can be considered the main antagonist) in Nickelodeon's 2021 animated TV series Rugrats. She's an attention-seeking, sassy, greedy, and manipulative toddler, disguised by an overly innocent, sweet, and shy demeanor to adults. To the babies, she is always ready with misguided information, outlandish schemes, bold-faced lies, and snarky insults. Angelica has many toys, but her favorite is always going to be Cynthia, her barbie-like fashion doll who has been maimed and mangled but is nonetheless beloved by her owner. She also races about in a little powered Cynthia car.[1]
Description
Angelica is a highly imaginative and clever preschooler, whose goody-goody sweetness toward adults clouds them to her true nature: being bossy and manipulative towards the younger babies. To the babies, she is always ready with misguided information, outlandish schemes, bold-faced lies, and snarky insults. Angelica has many toys, but her favorite is always going to be Cynthia, her fashion doll who has been maimed and mangled but is nonetheless beloved by her owner. She carries Cynthia everywhere and talks to her like a friend - in fact, Cynthia IS her best friend. She also races about in a little powered Cynthia car and has a Cynthia Perfect Penthouse along with many Cynthia accessories. Angelica hasa Persian cat named Fluffy who mirrors her mischievous ways. Looks
Like her 1991 counterpart, Angelica wears a purple tank twirl dress, a long-sleeved orange-red shirt with flared cuffs, blue and green polka-dotted tights, orange socks, and purple and white sneakers. She also has blonde hair which is worn in two pigtails tied with purple ribbons.

Relationships
- Charlotte Pickles: Charlotte is Angelica's mother, so they love each other very much, though they do sometimes conflict, especially if Charlotte wants Angelica to do something that she doesn't want to.
- Drew Pickles: Drew is Angelica's father, and he loves her a lot, often speaking to her affectionately.
- Lou Pickles: Lou is Angelica's grandfather, and while they do come to blows occasionally, they generally get along well, with her enjoying his company and his baking, and him occasionally teaching her skills.
- Tommy Pickles: Like the other babies, Angelica likes scaring Tommy by lying to him, and annoying him by calling him names and occasionally stealing from him. However, he is her baby cousin, so she does care for him deep down and will occasionally be nice to him. For instance, in "Traditions", she helps him when he is being attacked by a goat.
- Dil Pickles: Dil is Angelica's other baby cousin, and she sometimes finds him annoying due to his crying and inability to do much.
- Susie Carmichael: Like the other babies, Angelica likes to annoy and scare Susie for her amusement. However, they do occasionally work together, for instance in "Miss Match", when they both tried to play matchmaker with Chas and Kira.
- Phil and Lil: Angelica enjoys messing with the DeVille twins as much as the other babies, but she will also play with them, for instance roping them into her play wedding in "Wedding Smashers".
- Spike: Like in the original series, Angelica finds Spike annoying, often insulting him for smelling bad or drooling.
- Begley: Angelica sometimes finds Begley annoying due to his preferring to collect Cynthia toys than play with them. However, she still considers him her best friend due to their shared enjoyment of the Cynthia franchise.
- Kimi: Angelica thinks Kimi is annoying due to her being more morally upright than Angelica. However, Angelica does sometimes find Kimi useful, such as in "Miss Match", when she wanted Kimi to babysit Dil so that Dil would be out of Angelica's hair.
Trivia
- In a special regarding the 2021 series, Angelica's voice actress Cheryl Chase describes the character as the "proverbial bad girl of Nickelodeon," continuing that it's always fun and liberating to play the villain.[4]
- In "Ancient Treasure", it is mentioned (and seen by the babies) that Angelica used to chew on her pacifier as a baby.
- In addition, the "treasure" the babies found was her old baby blanket that she is shown to still have some slight attachment to.
- In "A Scare to Remember " it’s revealed that she considers Begley her best friend.
- In "Sir Spike", she is revealed to be the only Rugrat who knows how to dress herself, put her toys away, and pour her own cereal (but that she only pours her own cereal sometimes).
