• R.I.P Jack Riley If you haven't heard, we've had another Rugrats actor crew member pass this month. This time it's none other than Stu Pickles voice actor Jack Riley who passed away at 81 years old on August 19, 2016. Rest in Peace.

• Rugrats 25 Years Old! Yep that's right! As of August 11th, 2016 Rugrats is officially 25 years old. NickSplat is going to be showing episodes throughout the course of the next few weeks to celebrate the 25 anniversary of Rugrats along with Doug and Ren and Stimpy which also appeared August 11, 1991 alongside Rugrats.

• Rugrats on a new block (September 26 2015): As of September 26 2015 the Rugrats tv show might be returning on the new block "The Splat"" on October 5 which is at the moment a rebrand of 90's are all that and runs from 10pm-6am. It is unknown if "NickSplat" will stay as a replacement block for the 90's are all that or later become a channel of its own.

• The Wiki was adopted! (August 1, 2015): On August 1, 2015 the wiki was adopted by Babysmurfrocks who is now the Bureaucrat of the Wiki.

• The original Rugrats television series was cancelled on August 1, 2004 along with its two spin-off series, All Grown Up! and Angelica and Susie's Pre-School Daze. But there is good news: Rugrats and All Grown Up! is still airing in reruns on TeenNick! Sadly, Angelica and Susie's Pre-School Daze is not airing on television any longer.

• According to the announcement made on the Rugrats official Facebook page there is to going to be new Rugrats comics released in October! It is being published by BOOM! Studios. The first comic Rugrats: Number 1 is going to be released October 18, 2017.

• Rugrats Returning to Television Yes you heard that right! As of July 17th, 2018 it was confirmed that Rugrats will be returning for a new 26 episode series followed up by a live action/CGI movie. Information shall be posted over time but what we know so far is the series has already gone under production as the creators Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó, and Paul Germain are working on this new series for Nickelodeon. There has not been a release of when the series will begin production at this time.

"Acorn Nuts & Diapey Butts" is a three-part episode of Rugrats that serves as the season finale to the show's sixth season . The episode's story serves as a lead-in to the events of Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, and it is also notably the last episode to use the original intro sequence which has been used since the series premiered in 1991.

It takes place during the Fall. In this episode, Tommy's fear for changes comes true as Lou permanently moves out of their house and into a retirement home, and must come to terms with his Grandfather not being around as much as before. Meanwhile, Chas tries to find a new love (none of which turn out great), but Chuckie is starting to feel left out.
